The default format is the whole period, November 6 to 20. The route is built as one continuous story: from the flat lagoons of Cumbuco to the wild spots of Barra Grande, progressing from comfy conditions to a full-on expedition.

Infrastructure

Instructors & kite support
The crew are active riders on-site with the group all 14 days. They'll help you launch, read the spot, and pick the right kite size. Full lessons and 1-on-1 sessions available as an add-on.
Downwind safety
A jeep with a beach assistant follows the whole way, plus water support. Tired? Hop in the car, no questions asked.
Where we stay
Villa Binn Preá is our base right on the trip's main spot. 4-star level, 9.8/10 guest rating, walking distance to Preá beach.
Rooms for 2–3 people
AC, private bathroom, daily cleaning. Single rooms available on request.
Pool and garden
Loungers, hammocks and shade after your session — 3 minutes from the Preá spot.
Breakfast included
Fresh fruit, coffee, tapioca. Lunch and dinner on request, we can arrange a group chef.
Wi-Fi and gear storage
Solid internet, kite rinse and dry area, secure gear storage.
Week two: same-level lodging in Barra Grande, and in Cumbuco a hotel by the Cauípe lagoon.

Cumbuco
Our starting base: the Cauípe lagoon right by the airport — perfect flat water to warm up on day one.
Preá
The trip's main spot: kilometers of flat water and the most consistent wind on the coast.
Jericoacoara
Dunes, sunset at Duna do Pôr do Sol, and bars after sessions — the finish line of the downwind.
Tatajuba
A wild lagoon between giant dunes: almost nobody on the water, mirror-flat.
Barra Grande
The windiest spot on the route: 20–30 knots and a huge shallow bay for freestyle.

The main reason to come to Brazil — here you don't just ride, you travel by kite and level up faster than anywhere else.
Who it's for
Solid intermediate level: you ride upwind consistently, waterstart on your own and keep the kite under control in gusts. No tricks needed — just stamina and control.
What it actually is
A downwinder is a run along the coast from point A to point B, riding with the wind. No looping laps by the beach — you cover 12–40 km of wild coastline: dunes, lagoons, fishing villages, empty waves.
Why Brazil
The trade wind blows steady along the coast for hundreds of kilometers, no gaps. Add a support car following on the beach, warm water and reliable wind every single day — there's simply no better spot for downwinders.
Flat and waves in one trip
Mirror-flat lagoons for freestyle and your first jumps — plus real ocean swell for a surfboard and directional riding. Switch it up daily if you want.
Your level will jump
5–7 hours on the water a day, 14 days straight. That's the kind of riding time it takes a couple of seasons to rack up back home. Progress here isn't linear — it's a leap.
